Special thanks to the entire PYP team

On the joyous occasion of teachers day, I would like to offer my sincere thanks to Ms Nuwaira for spending hours listening to my concerns and always being supportive, Mr Sanjay for being there with a big smile and always welcoming.

Special thanks to Ms Sandhya Rani for creating a passion for dance in my daughter. Though she has a long way to go, thank you for being there for her during her formative years. Please accept my heart felt appreciation to your commitment to the art.

Special thanks to Ms Karuna. We miss you so much! Thanks for making a confident girl out of my daughter.

Thank you Mr Vinayak for organizing the choir so well during Christmas time at IELC. We have very fond memories of those days.

Thanks to Mr Vaidraj and Ms Priyadarshini for all the enthusiasm and helping kids take part in international competitions. Keep up the honest work.

Happy Teachers' Day

Matru devo bhava, Pitru devo bhava, Aacharya devo bhava!
It has been an age old concept of giving a teacher the utmost status of God in a child’s life. Though parents give them life, it is the teacher who gives students a meaning to the life and guides them to lead it in a rightful way.

It’s not always easy, not always fun. Managing kids could be challenging many a times.
In a teacher centric school like this, the role of a teacher is very significant.

Thank you for being there for the kids
For all the answers to their curious questions
For all the patience in listening to their concerns
For all the counseling when they fight over petty issues
For all the high fives when they proudly show their work to you
For all the cheers and encouragement during competitions
For all the backstage support during events
For taking the feedback in the right spirit
For bearing the responsibility of creating ignited youth

Though not a parent, your role is just as strong
Thanks for your contribution in shaping our kids’ future

Ms. Damayanthi - For being so approachable and patient

For most of us parents, international curriculum and the pedagogy is very new and because of this we are often confused, concerned and sometimes just worry warts. As the Vice-Principal, Ms. Damayanthi is the first point of contact for most of us. Inspite of being busy with handling the curriculum related issues, she is always very patient in addressing our questions and worries. Her vast experience in the education field and in handling children of varied ages and backgrounds comes in very handy in imbibing confidence in us.
As a PAC member, I have even seen how she is very sympathetic to the parents' concerns and balances very well between addressing them swiftly, or being open and honest about those that just cannot be accommodated and finally standing her ground very sternly about those that are core to Indus and cannot be compromised.

Thank you Ms. Damayanthi for guiding us parents as well as the children in getting our children ready to take on the world !

Experience is the best teacher

Dear Ms. Sweta,

Everyone says that ‘Experience is the best teacher’ but I say that ‘Having you as my teacher is the best experience’. Wishing you a Happy Teachers Day!

Sanjay Prabhakaran - For encouraging students to participate

I really like Sanjay sir for encouraging us to participate in different activities like the soccer match with parents. He even let us skip part of a class to prepare for the matches and encourages us to be all rounders.

Dear Teachers and all the staff of Indus,

Thanks for taking care of our children like your own and truly partnering with us in developing the future citizens of the world.
I want to particularly thank the management and the teachers for being so approachable and accommodating to the demands, questions and expectations from such a wide range of parents while still preserving what is core to Indus. It is certainly not an easy task and we tend to take that for granted.
Whether it is building the foundation skills in our PYP children or handling the teens and their need for independence in the MSP or guiding the young adults in high school to make the right choices, we feel you all play a very important role in our children's lives and by extension ours too. Thanks for imbibing confidence in us and making us feel confident that our children are in a safe and stimulating environment
