Hi good morning
"Aacharya Devo Bhava" are the first words that our parents teaches us.
After parents, teachers plays important role in our lives. They can be a good friend, philosophers.
Sometimes even parents didn't accepts their children's imperfections but a good teacher always acquire students flaw and make them ideal.
For me their teachings are precious like diamonds and their blessings are treasured
Thank you

Happy Teachers' Day

Matru devo bhava, Pitru devo bhava, Aacharya devo bhava!
It has been an age old concept of giving a teacher the utmost status of God in a child’s life. Though parents give them life, it is the teacher who gives students a meaning to the life and guides them to lead it in a rightful way.

It’s not always easy, not always fun. Managing kids could be challenging many a times.
In a teacher centric school like this, the role of a teacher is very significant.

Thank you for being there for the kids
For all the answers to their curious questions
For all the patience in listening to their concerns
For all the counseling when they fight over petty issues
For all the high fives when they proudly show their work to you
For all the cheers and encouragement during competitions
For all the backstage support during events
For taking the feedback in the right spirit
For bearing the responsibility of creating ignited youth

Though not a parent, your role is just as strong
Thanks for your contribution in shaping our kids’ future

Ragini
Grade 3 and grade 6 parent

Here are our thanks to each one of you teachers who have helped shape our kids’ love for knowledge and to have fun while doing that.

Wishing you a very happy Teachers Day!

Potters

I believe a teacher is like a potter who mould children into confident and successful adults with their attention, affection and guidance.
Thanks for being great Teachers.

Ms. Damayanthi - For being so approachable and patient

For most of us parents, international curriculum and the pedagogy is very new and because of this we are often confused, concerned and sometimes just worry warts. As the Vice-Principal, Ms. Damayanthi is the first point of contact for most of us. Inspite of being busy with handling the curriculum related issues, she is always very patient in addressing our questions and worries. Her vast experience in the education field and in handling children of varied ages and backgrounds comes in very handy in imbibing confidence in us.
As a PAC member, I have even seen how she is very sympathetic to the parents' concerns and balances very well between addressing them swiftly, or being open and honest about those that just cannot be accommodated and finally standing her ground very sternly about those that are core to Indus and cannot be compromised.

Thank you Ms. Damayanthi for guiding us parents as well as the children in getting our children ready to take on the world !

Ms. Manju and Mr. Sanjay

I would like to thank all the teachers for encouraging the kids all along and helping them.  I would especially like to thank Ms Manju and Mr Sanjay for their support  and kindness throughout the academic year. Happy teachers day!

Experience is the best teacher

Dear Ms. Sweta,

Everyone says that ‘Experience is the best teacher’ but I say that ‘Having you as my teacher is the best experience’. Wishing you a Happy Teachers Day!

So many contributions

Truly stated by Aristotle " those who educate children well are more to be honored than they who produced them; for these only gave them life;those the art of living well."

There are so many contributions that a teacher makes in the life and learning process of a student, it is not possible to pen them. We, the parents and the students of IISH are so glad that we have got a group of very talented, dedicated and committed teachers. Happy teachers’ day!

thanks

Sincere Thanks

Dear Teachers at Indus,

One big thank you all, in shaping Nitya's future. Nitya is what she is because of you teachers.

I know thanks, is a very small gesture for all the hard work you put in day in and out. But it comes from the bottom of mine and Neerada's heart and comes with sincerity. Please accept it.

You all have a big role in shaping the careers of many students. Hope all of you will continue to keep up the good work and change the destiny of many students at Indus family.

Cheers

Happy Teachers Day

Dear teachers & the entire Indus team

It is Arya's 6th year with Indus & it has been a simply remarkable journey. Arya has really blossomed holistically all round over these years.

The lion's share of that credit goes to all the teachers who have made it so wonderful.

It has always felt like one extended family working towards a common purpose - the child's overall development. There was never anything like personal & school life - the teacher as well as the parent were aware of everything about the child. In fact they spend so much more time with the teachers than with us parents & are the key guiding factors for the children.

My heartfelt gratitude & commendations for the noble contribution all of you have made in my child's life! In the process, you all have touched me also personally in words I cannot express!!!

Thank you once again,
Life is Beautiful!!

Nurturing Academic Interests and Creative Pursuits

Dear Teachers and Staff of IISH,
Thank you for all that you have done for my child (Ria Sardesai). Over the past four years, you have nurtured her academic interests as well as her creative pursuits. We are very proud of the young lady she has become, and the credit for this goes in a large part to the teachers and mentors at school - after all, our children do spend a major part of their day with you.
We really appreciate all your hard work, thoughtfulness, creativity,  humor and enthusiasm. It has made school a very positive experience for Ria.

Wishing you all a very happy teachers day!

Leena & Ashish Sardesai

Sanjay Prabhakaran - For encouraging students to participate

I really like Sanjay sir for encouraging us to participate in different activities like the soccer match with parents. He even let us skip part of a class to prepare for the matches and encourages us to be all rounders.

Shaping Interests

For more than a week, Tejas has been busy making paper bags at home. He made for each member of the family and for some friends. The scissors disappeared, then we were not finding sticky tape and his brother complained that his knitting wool has been cut. Multiple colorful paper bags appeared. Wool had been used to make the bag handles. We wondered at this burst of creativity and this new hobby. All became clear when I saw his class Newsletter. They had been making bags in school & had watched some videos!
I want to thank the teachers at Indus. You have a profound effect on our kids, you shape their interests, feed their curiosity and fuel their creativity. Thank you for all that you do !

-Sangita (Mom to a 7th grader and a 2nd grader)

Mr Aniruddha - For Individual Attention

I had Aniruddha sir in my 5th grade and it was a great experience. In a class of 20+ students, it is difficult for the teacher to give individual attention and make each student feel important and heard. Aniruddha sir did just that and helped me realize my strengths and areas of improvements beyond just academics.

I hope Aniruddha sir gets to teach middle school because I think he can guide us very well.
-Avinash
Grade 7

I would like to second my son, Avinash's appreciation. Aniruddha was one of the few teachers I came across who observed Avinash holistically and gave me feedback about him not just from the academics perspective but, as a full personality. He helped me recognize some of Avi's strengths and sensitivities that I would have missed.
Thanks Aniruddha for your interest in our children and the effort you put in to know them individually.

-Vasantha

Dear Teachers,

A hundred years from now, it will not matter what kind of car I drove, what kind of house I lived in, how much money I had in the bank, but the world may be better place because I made a difference in the life of a child.

This famous quote always reminds me how important you teachers are in our lives.

Thank you dear staff for taking care and guiding our children.

Jyothi Mallela.

Dear teachers,

Thank you for the wonderful effort you all put in to shape Eshita and Krishna into what they are. We are proud of them.

From the day we put Eshita in Indus(1st student of the school :)), the quality of teachers has been outstanding. Teachers are the backbone of any school and a school is as good as it's teachers. Topping the School rankings is a reflection of this.

Keep up the good work!

Dear Teachers and all the staff of Indus,

Thanks for taking care of our children like your own and truly partnering with us in developing the future citizens of the world.
I want to particularly thank the management and the teachers for being so approachable and accommodating to the demands, questions and expectations from such a wide range of parents while still preserving what is core to Indus. It is certainly not an easy task and we tend to take that for granted.
Whether it is building the foundation skills in our PYP children or handling the teens and their need for independence in the MSP or guiding the young adults in high school to make the right choices, we feel you all play a very important role in our children's lives and by extension ours too. Thanks for imbibing confidence in us and making us feel confident that our children are in a safe and stimulating environment

Mom of a 3rd grader and 7th grader

Dear Teachers,
We have just started our journey. But my apprehensions about Anya coping in her new school were wiped away the very first day. She does not want to miss school even for a day, which is a testament of your awesomeness. Thanks for making school a fun learning experience.

In the following weeks I have seen the keen interest you have taken towards each student in the class and are pushing them towards excellence. I truly believe our kids learn more from you all than at home, please continue to guide them. Thank you for all your love, patience, understanding and dedication towards your pupil.
